Before we get started, I need to collect a few pieces of information from you.
This conference uses a flipped-classroom model:

  • You’ll watch very short, content-driven videos before each in-person session.
  • Our in-person gatherings will focus on hands-on, practical application based on what you learned in the videos.
 
As part of my doctoral requirements, participants are asked to complete a brief pre-assessment and post-assessment to help measure learning outcomes.
(Don’t worry—it’s quick and straightforward.)

After the conference concludes, I’ll also invite you to a follow-up coffee or lunch for an informal evaluation—both to encourage your ministry plans and to complete my project research.

I am incredibly grateful for your time and investment in this experience.
This project is a major step toward completing my doctorate, but more importantly, I believe it will offer real value for you and your church’s leadership development.

Project Title: TRAINING SELECTED CHURCH LEADERS IN THE GCBA TO CREATE A LEADERSHIP DEVELOPMENT STRATEGY

Purpose of the Project: The purpose of this project is to equip selected ministry leaders within the Great Commission Baptist Association (GCBA) to develop and implement leadership training in their local churches. This training will focus on biblical foundations, practical strategies, and the development of a leadership training plan.

By participating in this project, you agree to:
  • Attend three in-person training sessions (2 hours each)
  • View three short video lessons (5-8 minutes each)
  • Complete a brief pre- and post-assessment
  • Engage in portfolio planning activities
  • Participate in a follow-up coaching conversation
 
Voluntary Participation: Your participation is completely voluntary. You may choose to withdraw from the project at any time without penalty.
Confidentiality: All responses, assessments, and coaching conversations will remain confidential and will be used only for the purposes of this project. Your name or personal church information will not be shared in any reports.

By participating, you will:
  • Develop a personalized leadership training plan for your church
  • Gain tools and insights for equipping future leaders
  • Contribute to strengthening leadership within the GCBA
