UNDERSTANDING ACTS IN CONTEXT
The best way to read the book of Acts is to go back and first read the book of Luke. To pick up and begin Acts 1:2 without first reading Luke is akin to reading the final Harry Potter book without reading the first six. There will be many unanswered questions and mass confusion.

Think of it like this: If the Bible were not published as one book, Luke and Acts may be sold as two volumes of a single work.
